How it sizes
On the maker's rating it reaches the target for a sizer score of up to 3 out of 5 (see the sizer). Running cost at full power and 26.32p per kWh (October 2026 price cap, as quoted by Which?): about 5.3p per hour, or about 11p per litre at rated capacity. Real bills are usually lower because the unit cycles off once the room reaches its target humidity.
What testers found
Expert Reviews found it cheap and effective in small rooms but with a small tank and a low-frequency rumble. In a small bedroom it took humidity from 70% to 55% in about three hours on the highest fan setting, and six hours on continuous high dried light laundry but not jeans or heavy joggers.
