How it sizes
On the maker's rating it reaches the target for a sizer score of up to 5 out of 5 (see the sizer). Running cost at full power and 26.32p per kWh (October 2026 price cap, as quoted by Which?): about 12p per hour, or about 14p per litre at rated capacity. Real bills are usually lower because the unit cycles off once the room reaches its target humidity.
What testers found
Woman & Home found it delivered its 20 L claim and cleared windows quickly, but measured 64 dB in its condensation test against the 42 dB rating and found it costs more to run than comparable models, with the Meaco MeacoDry Arete One costing about half as much. Homebuilding scored it 4.5 out of 5 after a week in a damp home office, emptying the 5.5 L tank five times. (Source: Woman & Home review; Homebuilding review.)
