How it sizes
On the maker's rating it reaches the target for a sizer score of up to 3 out of 5 (see the sizer). Running cost at full power and 26.32p per kWh (October 2026 price cap, as quoted by Which?): about 5.8p per hour, or about 12p per litre at rated capacity. Real bills are usually lower because the unit cycles off once the room reaches its target humidity.
What testers found
Ideal Home found it quick at extracting moisture but loud on every setting, the 1.8 L tank filled quickly, and laundry was still damp after 24 hours on continuous mode. Reviewer puts running cost at about 6p per hour. (Source: Ideal Home review.)
