How it sizes
On the maker's rating it reaches the target for a sizer score of up to 1 out of 5 (see the sizer). Running cost at full power and 26.32p per kWh (October 2026 price cap, as quoted by Which?): about 17p per hour, or about 50p per litre at rated capacity. Real bills are usually lower because the unit cycles off once the room reaches its target humidity.
What testers found
In a boat enclosure starting at 73% RH and 8.4 C it extracted 4.2 L in a 24-hour trial, reached 55% RH after about six hours and then held around 50%. (Source: Yachting Monthly boat test.)
