How it sizes
On the maker's rating it reaches the target for a sizer score of up to 1 out of 5 (see the sizer). Running cost at full power and 26.32p per kWh (October 2026 price cap, as quoted by Which?): about 15p per hour, or about 49p per litre at rated capacity. Real bills are usually lower because the unit cycles off once the room reaches its target humidity.
What testers found
Ideal Home puts running cost at 9p to 17p per hour at 30p per kWh. Quiet mode was a low hum; turbo was very loud. Laundry drying was good for its 7.5 L/day rating. (Source: Ideal Home review.)
